Arabica Coffee Futures Stay Near 7-Month Highs

Arabica coffee futures traded around $4.22 per pound, remaining close to a seven-month high of $4.27 per pound scaled on September 15, due to concerns about limited supply and trade tensions.

The lack of rain in Brazil's coffee-growing regions ahead of the critical flowering period for coffee trees is also pushing coffee prices sharply higher.

At the same time, dealers said the market was supported by fund buying against the backdrop of tight supplies in the US after the impositions of a 50% tariff on shipments from Brazil.
